(Silicon Image SiI 3726) and connects to a eSATA host controller card through

Auto-negotiation for 3Gb/s and 1.5Gb/s drives, so installation is as simple as securing the drives to the trays.
Start out with a few drives for simple data storage, or fill the enclosure with
ten drives to create
up to a huge 10.0 Terabyte striped RAID array using 1.0 Terabyte SATA hard drives.
